...and that's partially because I haven't done what I said I was going to, which for anyone who remembers, was to reread my favorite habit. Habit # 1 - Be Proactive. Oops!

Us Mothers Investing in Literature, Family and friends met Saturday. Great times! What came of it you ask? Well…
1) We have yet to schedule another book club meeting at the original time set – Ha ha!
2) SOME people don't read their book club books :: Cough cough certain, yet to be nicknamed MILFer who was not present at the first meeting!!:: we will call her Alilsis. He he...
3) Do NOT insults a MILF club member. We will hurt you. And by hurt you, I mean talk about you in depth. Unless you too are a fellow member, then you will be ridiculed and slightly punched and it will be over. ☺
4) We can actually have meaningful discussions for an extended period of time!!
This meeting was all about the Time Keeper by Mitch Albom.
We all agreed that this was a perfect first read for book club. It follows the journey of father time, and without giving away too much, here were some of our favorite quotes from the book…

Overall, it seemed everyone was pleased that they a) FINISHED a book (woo hoo everyone except for Alilsis) and b) had someone to talk to about it! It was nice getting to know the way people think a little more too.
